Membership

Membership of the organisation is offered at different Grades that reflect a member's experience and qualifications and provide a path for the recognition of increasing professional development. The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in New Zealand Inc. can be joined on either an Individual or a Corporate basis. Membership covers the year from July to June, for those who were members prior to April 2007. For newer members the subscription years runs from the anniversary of their being admitted to the institute.


Membership Fees

  • Entry Level $157.50 (Associate)
  • Corporate Membership $759.38
  • Student Undertaking  Transport & Logistics Study or CILT International Course $50.00 ( with proof of enrolment)
  • Under 35's Development Group  $50.00 (with DOB)
  • Retired Members All Grades $100.00
  • FCILT  $236.25
  • CMILT $213.75
  • MILT   $191.25

Fees are all GST inclusive at the 12.5% and this component will change to 15% 1st October 2010.

Individual Membership

Individual membership is open to persons engaged in, or otherwise interested in, the profession of logistics and transport and the supply chain management. When you first join you are graded as an Associate member of the Institute. To join as a member there are no qualifying criteria. All you need to do is complete the application form and return to us.

Grading Reviews

Members can apply to have their grading reviewed.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Membership is available to businesses and organisations with a minimum of 12 employees, five of whom can be nominated as members. An addition 5 employees can also be nominated if they are under 25 years of age. These individuals do not have to pay separate membership fees so there are cost benefits to join as a company.
