5. Tranzqual Scholarship.
The purpose of the scholarship is to promote the uptake of training specifically relevant to the transport and logistics industry up to Diploma level on the National Qualification Framework (ie at sub-degree level). The scholarship is designed for potential future leaders who have entered the logistics and transport industry who do not hold any formal industry specific academic qualifications.The scholarship is for $2,000.00.

1. The CILT Young Executive of the Year Award.
This award is made annually to the young person (under 35 years of age) who has demonstrated the highest potential through their achievement in the supply chain management / logistics / transport. The award will consist of a grant of up to $4,000, to be used for attendance at an international supply chain management/logistics/transport conference or event.

8.The Norman Spencer Memorial Award for Service to Transport and the Institute.

The Norman Spencer Memorial Medal was given by his family to commemorate his life and work, especially in the Chartered Institute of Transport in New Zealand, which he founded. it has a dual focus, service to the industry and service to the Institute. the award is made to recognise a person of the highest calibre from within the transport and logistics sectors. The person is to have made an outstanding contribution over time to the sector as well as in a meaningful way to the activities of the Institute.
