The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (NZ)

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in New Zealand Inc. is a National Section of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport . , an international body established by Royal Charter in 1922. Over 33,000 transport and logistics practitioners in more than 30 countries belong to the Institute, securing our position as a key international organisation which promotes professional development and knowledge exchange.

Service delivery to members is focused through six Sections to contacts based in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay and Waikato - Bay of Plenty together with a Section based in Fiji. Each has a local Chairman and Committee and arranges a programme of activities to interest members. These include visits, addresses, seminars and training opportunities and are publicised through Section newsletters and this website.

Micheal Hensley, Jens Madsen (POAL) Nathan Guy MP at the CILT October 2009 Awards We are delighted to be able to advise that our CILT New Zealand nomination for the “ International Young Achiever of the Year” Award ,  Micheal Hensley  has just won the International CILT "Young Achiever of the Year "Award , against many countries participating from Asia, Europe, Africa, USA and Oceania. 

Micheal  Hensley won the CILT NZ Award  in October 2009 at the Awards Dinner, this Award is Sponsored by the Ports Of Auckland Ltd.
