We’ll start with the AGM, then have a presentation by Ryan Cooney, the Manager Christchurch Transport Operations Centre, followed by a tour of the Operations Centre.
We are pleased to have Ryan Cooney as our guest speaker and tour guide. Ryan joined the Christchurch Transport Operations Centre (CTOC) in September 2013 after working to establish CTOC from the earthquake response Strategic Routes Team. Both CTOC and the Strategic Routes Team are focused on making the best use of the existing transport network. Prior to this Ryan has held roles in public and private sector specialising in transport planning and scheme development. This has involved projects such as implementing the Network Operating Framework in Christchurch, Christchurch Roads of National Significance, design and delivery of Bus Priority lanes, transportation studies for Whangarei, North Shore, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill. Ryan will speak about the formation and activities of CTOC and host a visit to the Operations Centre
