Meeting 24th May 2016 - Health & Safety Presentation

Northern Section CILT Member Evening: Improving our Health and Safety Performance (hosted by Keith Robinson and John Barley),

5:00pm - 6:30pm Tuesday 24th May 2016

The change in Health and Safety legislation for New Zealand came into effect on the 1st April 2016. As a country and across logistics and transport this gives us opportunity to refocus our businesses and our people on improving Health and Safety culture and performance through taking a risk based approach. The key objective we are all working towards is to make sure all our people go home safe at the end of the day, no exceptions. The first part of this evening hosted by Keith Robinson from the CILT Northern Committee and expert trainer across New Zealand will focus on the changes to the act and our response to improving Health and Safety across New Zealand. The second part hosted by fellow committee member John Barley from Barley Insurance will focus on an insurance perspective to this topic. On behalf of the CILT Northern Committee we kindly invite all our members to what will be an insightful session on an important area for all of us.

Event Location and Time: 5:00pm for a start at 5:15pm - 6.30pm Tuesday 24th May. Auckland Martime School, Level 1, 132-138 Quay Street, Auckland CBD

Complimentary drinks and nibbles will be provided.
