CILTNZ 2012 International Conference The Logistics of Natural Disaster Recovery
CILTNZ 2012 International Conference - The Logistics of Natural Disaster Recovery
Dates: 5 - 7 March 2012
Location: Amora Hotel Wellington for first two days. Christchurch for the third and final day.
The conference is being held over three days from 5 to 7 March 2012, the first two days in Wellington, New Zealand and the third day in Christchurch, New Zealand. A charter flight between Wellington and Christchurch has been arranged for delegates who register for the full three days.
Natural Disasters, whether an earthquake in Christchurch or a major flood in Queensland, place huge demands on logistics. This conference aims to acquaint delegates with many of the lessons that have been learnt from these two natural disasters, what worked well and what did not work so well, in order that planning and preparation for future natural disasters can be of an even higher quality than hitherto.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is the overall organiser of the conference, and its aims are to educate all those whose work is impacted by logistics, transport and the complete supply chain.
